May 2020 Mitel 14.2 Notice

A reminder of the major milestone regarding your Mitel 14.2 product line and its planned End of Life (EOL) on September 30th, 2020.

LANtelligence wants to take this opportunity to remind our customers of the major milestone regarding the Mitel 14.2 product line and its planned End of Life (EoL) on September 30th, 2020. This was announced in Mitel’s Bulletin Number: 18007 – Global, last updated on May 15th, 2019.

 

We have sent several previous bulletin summaries on the subject to keep you abreast of the timeline and your options as our valued customers so that you may have the opportunity to make the best and most informed decision for your business case. To refresh your memory, there are both premise and Cloud options available with Mitel Connect, the details which can be found here:  https://www.lantelligence.com/shoretel-upgrade-migration/. We are happy to set up a call to discuss in detail the Mitel options, as well as all Tier 1 Cloud options from 8×8 to Zoom. LANtelligence will continue to support anyone that maintains a current Partner Support Contract with us while on Mitel 14.2. That means while the software continues to run, TAC will continue to take your calls. RMA’s for failed hardware can be submitted, which may require an upgrade to Mitel Connect based on hardware availability. Issues requiring escalation or new software will cause the need to upgrade to Mitel Connect as part of the resolution path.

 

The bottom line: please reach out to your LANtelligence TSE or CX representative to Schedule your upgrade to MiVoice Connect (premise based) or to MiCloud Connect for those customers ready for the Cloud.
